The location is perfect, walking distance to many amazing restaurants, hotels and the Marina. The room was comfortable and right beside the pool, even though the access to the pool was a little tricky, a ladder down the side would have been advantageous, I would definitely book poolside again. The hotel is very quiet and restful, clean and comfortable.

Excellent location. Gorgeous pool area. Very very quiet . If you don’t have kids this is perfection ! You can get your own swim out deck but for the rooms that don’t have those there still isn’t any horrible ‘reserving ‘ of pool lounges. Forget about the Sheraton and all the other big hotels where people fight over sun lounges and it’s so noisy . Of course no swim up bar but you can just make up your own drinks (cheaper ) and have them out on your deck . Also no room service but the Main Street is literally on the corner with a great variety of restaurants and there’s also a Coles if you need extra things.

We had our own kitchenette . Easy walk to the supermarket and our daily coffee. Handy having a lift especially when arriving with our luggage. The garden and pool area was wonderful and very well maintained . The pool temperature was just right and very refreshing.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Meridian. The location is perfect! One block away from 4 Mile beach and the Main Street where you find restaurants,cafes and shops- everything we needed for our relaxing stay. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment with swim out access to the beautiful lagoon pool. The room was very clean ,comfortable and spacious. The cooling was very pleasant with 2 aircons and 2 ceiling fans for comfort. If you’re looking for a quiet and peaceful stay as well as value for money we highly recommend the Meridian!

The location is great. just a short walk into the main drag for shopping, cafes and restaurants. We did not need to use the car except for day trips. We had a one bedroom apartment and it was well fitted out , including plates, cups , fridge etc. Having direct access to the pool from our apartment was amazing.

We liked the one bed apartment with pool view. The living area was very spacious although the bedroom and kitchen were smaller. A very comfy bed. We had a large balcony. We made use of the washer and dryer. The pool was big enough and I enjoyed a swim Location was great. Only a few minutes walk to restaurants and the underground parking very useful. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The room was fantastic, we did not expect the room to be so nice and comfy plenty of space and a great balcony to the out side area of the hotel, it was great for the time we spent in Port Douglas. very close to all facilities and the girl on the desk was very informative, The pool area needed some upgrading but was great to cool down. I will book this place again as it exceeded our expectations.

The apartment was spacious, great lounge/tv area, with all the facilities we needed. The clean midway through was quite thorough. Huge pool and more than enough space for everyone to enjoy. Lots of brochures available at reception. Only a couple of minutes to walk to Macrossan St, so location is excellent! We loved it here.
